MISS ERIN
bio

Erin Blaskovic grew up competing in both dance and cheerleading, at regional and national levels. Erin had the opportunity to gain experience choreographing and teaching routines at a young age, when she was chosen as captain of her middle school, junior varsity and varsity cheerleading squads. At that time, she also fell in love with student teaching dance classes at her childhood dance studio, which inspired her to become a dance teacher, while still in high school.
Erin attended Long Island High School for the Arts, where she received training from various industry professionals in the areas of modern, ballet and jazz.
Erin attended Hofstra University, receiving  a Bachelor of the Arts in Speech, Language and Hearing Science. She continued her studies at Hofstra to achieve a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology, specializing in early childhood.
Erin loves to give back to her community! She has volunteered as the co-coordinator and a coach of the Massapequa mustangs youth town cheerleading organization for over a decade. Erin has also volunteered as an assistant coach and choreographer for her high school cheerleading squad, as an alumni.
Over the years, Erin has choreographed dances that have won numerous choreography, entertainment, high score and title awards. Erin is honored to have had the privilege to showcase her choreography at a number of minor league sporting events including the Long Island Ducks and New York Dragons.
Currently, Erin works as an Speech Language Pathologist with preschoolers by day and teaches dance by night! Her unique skill set allows her to share her love and passion for dance, cheer and tumbling with her students!! Erin is very excited for her 15th year of teaching dance and her 3rd season with Create!!
